should be sure are NOT easily accessible by your pet: 

Kitchen 

  • Coffee grounds and teas

  • Chocolate and macadamia nuts

  • Yeast dough

  • Avocado, grapes/raisins

  • Onions

  • Alcohol

  • Salt and Garlic

  • Chewing gum, candy & breath fresheners containing xylitol

Bathroom 

  • Acetaminophen

  • Cold medicines and antihistamines

  • Prescription drugs

  • Diet pills/vitamins

  • Antidepressants

  • NSAID drugs such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and naproxen

Living Area 

  • Mothballs (contain naphthalene)

  • Tobacco products

  • Pennies and alkaline batteries

  • Buttons and ANY string-like items

  • Jewelry

  • Nails and screws

Garage and Yard 

  • Antifreeze, herbicides, insecticides, & ice-melting products

  • Gasoline

  • Paints and solvents

  • Many types of plants
