Traveling With Your Pet

Taking your pet along for a trip can be enjoyable with adequate preparations. Following is a small amount of information to help with planning.

For basic information about flying or driving with your cat or dog we have provided the following links:
If you will be flying
If you will be driving
If you will be going to another country
It is important to note that travel to some countries requires months of preparation.

Prior to travel we recommend that you bring your pet in for an exam. At this exam we will determine if your pet is healthy for travel and help with your travel paperwork. If your pet is traveling outside of the United States we ask that you obtain necessary paperwork from the country you are traveling to prior to your appointment. We can also discuss the need for anti-anxiety or sedative medications.

Kenwood's Pet Of The Month - Russell and Ronni

Name: Ronni (4 months)

Likes: My brother Russy and sister Rhya (black lab), playing and jumping in my parents food when they are eating.

Dislikes: Getting yelled at when I try climbing up the sides of my parents legs. That's not fun.

When I grow up: I want to be a professional climber when I get older...I've already tore down my mom's closet in the basement...what's next??!

Name: Russell (4 months)

Likes: My sisters Ronni and Rhya, cuddling, and playing all day long!

Dislikes: I love everything and everyone :)

When I grow up: I want to be a professional cuddler...I think I may have just about mastered it. What can I say...I'm a mommas boy!
