Traveling With Your Pet

Taking your pet along for a trip can be enjoyable with adequate preparations. Following is a small amount of information to help with planning.

For basic information about flying or driving with your cat or dog we have provided the following links:
If you will be flying
If you will be driving
If you will be going to another country
It is important to note that travel to some countries requires months of preparation.

Prior to travel we recommend that you bring your pet in for an exam. At this exam we will determine if your pet is healthy for travel and help with your travel paperwork. If your pet is traveling outside of the United States we ask that you obtain necessary paperwork from the country you are traveling to prior to your appointment. We can also discuss the need for anti-anxiety or sedative medications.
